Olorogun John Nani has described the unveiling of Sheriff/Tinubu 2027 campaign materials by the Urhobo Youth Leaders Association (UYLA) as a strategic and timely political statement that underscores the growing importance of youth-driven grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the ceremony at the Otor Udu Civic Centre, Udu, Nani said the event went beyond symbolism, noting that it reflected early alignment, political consciousness, and organisational readiness within Urhobo land.

According to him, the decision of the Urhobo youth leaders to publicly endorse the re-election bids of Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, signals confidence in performance-based leadership and continuity.

“This unveiling is not just about banners or campaign materials; it is about direction, structure, and early mobilisation. Youth leadership is critical to electoral outcomes, and what we are seeing here is a clear demonstration of political maturity and strategic thinking ahead of 2027,” Nani said.

He commended the Urhobo Youth Leaders Association for maintaining unity and focus, stressing that their sustained engagement in governance-related activities has positioned them as a stabilising force within the political landscape of Delta State.

Nani also praised the Oborevwori administration for what he described as inclusive governance and steady development across the state, adding that such performance naturally attracts grassroots loyalty, particularly among the youth.

He further noted that early consensus-building among key stakeholders in Urhobo land would help reduce internal fragmentation and strengthen collective bargaining power ahead of the next election cycle.

The ceremony, which featured the official unveiling of Sheriff/Tinubu 2027 campaign materials, was hosted by the Urhobo Youth Leaders Association under the leadership of its President, Chief Samuel Oghotomo, and attracted top political figures and government officials.

Among dignitaries present were the Delta State Director of Protocol, Chief Sunday Onoriode; Olorogun John Oguma, patron of the association; council chairmen from Okpe, Ughelli South and Udu Local Government Areas; and other elected and appointed officials.

The event marked an early but significant political mobilisation effort within Urhobo land as preparations gradually build toward the 2027 general elections.
