Senator Dafinone Felicitates Orodje of Okpe on 19th Coronation Anniversary

Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, has extended warm felicitations to His Royal Majesty, Orhue I, Maj. Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd), the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, on the auspicious occasion of his 19th coronation anniversary.

In a goodwill message issued on behalf of his family and the good people of the Urhobo Nation, Senator Dafinone lauded the monarch, who is also the incumbent Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, for his sterling leadership and unwavering commitment to peace and development.

He stated,

“Since your official ascension to the throne on July 29, 2006, Your Majesty has exemplified wise and visionary leadership. Your reign has ushered in an era of enduring peace, unity, and notable progress within the Okpe Kingdom.”

Senator Dafinone further highlighted the transformation of Orerokpe, the traditional headquarters of the Okpe Kingdom, as a visible and lasting testament to the monarch’s dedication to the well-being of people.

“As Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, Your Majesty has served not only the Okpe people but the entire Delta State with uncommon dignity, foresight, and courage. Your role as a custodian of culture and an advocate for peaceful coexistence has been instrumental in shaping a more stable and progressive Delta.”

The Senator joined the sons and daughters of Okpe Kingdom and well-wishers across Nigeria in celebrating the revered royal father.

“On this special occasion, I celebrate Your Royal Majesty and pray for your continued good health, divine wisdom, and even greater accomplishments in your reign. Long live the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom. Umogu! Umogu!! Umogu!!! Une su tor, une re`tor!“
