Senator Ede Dafinone has joined well-wishers across Nigeria in celebrating former Minister of Information and revered elder statesman, Professor Sam Oyovbaire, on the occasion of his 84th birthday.

In a goodwill message issued on Sunday, Senator Dafinone, speaking on behalf of the Dafinone family and the people of Delta Central Senatorial District, described Professor Oyovbaire as “a towering figure of wisdom, integrity, and public service.”

The Senator extolled the distinguished Okakuro of the Okpe Kingdom for his unwavering commitment to nation-building and principled leadership over the decades.

“On the joyous occasion of your 84th birthday, I, Senator Ede Dafinone, on behalf of the Dafinone family and the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District, heartily felicitate with you, our respected elder statesman, former Minister of Information, and a distinguished Okakuro of the Okpe Kingdom,” he said.

“As you celebrate this remarkable milestone, we pray that the Almighty God blesses you with divine health, enduring wisdom, and renewed strength to continue offering leadership to our people,” Dafinone added.

He wished the celebrant many more fruitful years, affirming that his voice and presence remain invaluable to the progress of Delta State and Nigeria at large.
