S’Court Verdict: Niger Delta activist, Mulade congratulates Tinubu

Delta State-born development and environmental justice advocate, Comrade Mulade Sheriff, has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria over his Supreme Court victory in the 2023 Presidential election.

Mulade in a statement on Thursday called on all candidates to accept the outcome of the Presidential election result and the Supreme Court Judgment.

The renowned ambassador of peace said he strongly and firmly believes that the judgement reflects the wishes and aspirations of Nigerians and called on Nigerians to work with the President to achieve his Renewed Hope Agenda.

He described President Tinubu as a man of simplicity and sagacity with basic knowledge for good governance and development from his antecedents, as former Governor of Lagos State, the commercial nerve of Nigeria.

Mulade who is the Ibe-sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom and a critical stakeholder in the Niger Delta agitation for development, urged other candidates in 2023 presidential election to accept the outcome and work with President Tinubu for the interest of all Nigerians and the nation.

He however, charged the President to run an all-inclusive government in order to sustain the existing peace across the nation towards attracting enviable development and build Nigeria’s international reputation, irrespective of ethnic, political and religious affiliations.

“It is imperative to state that the election as come and gone, litigation as equally come and gone, now is the time to build bridges of reconciliation, heal wounds and embrace all aggrieved members and candidates who participated at the general elections for a better Nigeria.

“it is also time to focus on good governance to attract development to every nooks and crannies of Nigeria, in line with the principles of true democracy,” Mulade emphasized.
