The Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourned hearing in a suit filed by Kaduna, Kogi and Zamfara states against the federal government seeking a restraining order to stop the full implementation of the naira redesign policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) until Feb. 22.

The Court rules:

Plaintiff to file amended processes by Friday, Defendant to respond by Monday. Matter adjourned to Wednesday 22 February 2023 for hearing. The other individual matters will also be heard on Wednesday

Court hints that the motion to Consolidate should not be filed in all the individual applications. Rather, one application should be filed listing all the matters.
