Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has endorsed his Bauchi State counterpart, Bala Mohammed to become the next President of Nigeria in 2023.

Wike threw his weight behind Mohammed on Saturday during his one-day visit to Bauchi State.

The outspoken and dogged governor from the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria praised the personal and political qualities of the Bauchi State Governor, noting that he has both the character and experience to lead Nigeria.

Wike added that Governor Bala is very qualified for the job and called on members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as well as Nigerians to support his ambition.
