The Executive of National Union of Izion-ibe Students Worldwide (2003/2004 Session), has felicitated their then President, Chief (Dr) Dennis Otuaro on his appointment as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

The Union in a statement signed by Kennedy Oyakumagbegha, former National Secretary, Vincent Nadifa Esq, former National Assistant Secretary and Samson Opuakpo, former Provost, described the appointment as well deserved.

The 2003-2004 Executive of the all Ijaw Ethnic Students’ Association, stated that Chief Otuaro far back in their undergraduate days as Student Leader, exhibited so much exemplary leadership qualities and was a strong voice in the agitation for the development of the Niger Delta.

While congratulating their former National President for his appointment as the Administrator of the Amnesty Programme, the then Union leaders urged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new assignment.

They thanked Mr President, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu for finding one of their own worthy to serve in his administration, even as they assured the new PAP Administrator of support to succeed in the task ahead.

The statement reads, “On behalf of the National Executive, National Union of Izion-ibe Students Worldwide 2003/2004 Session, we heartily felicitate and congratulate you Chief Dr Dennis Burutu Otuaro. our former erudite, visionary and amiable National President on your appointment as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, (PAP) by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCON.

“No doubt, from our undergraduate days as student leader, you have exhibited exemplary leadership qualities and being a voice amongst others for the development of the Niger Delta.

“Sir, we have no doubt that you will make a positive impact in your new role as Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.

“May you be blessed with wisdom and strength as you carry out this important assignment and in accordance with the mandate of the presidential amnesty programme”.
