Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to three prominent Nigerians, Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), Barr. Felix Morka, and Chief Obinna Iyiegbu (Obi Cubana), as they marked their respective birthdays, describing them as influential figures whose contributions continue to shape national development.
In separate goodwill messages on Sunday through his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor praised Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, on his 55th birth anniversary, commending his enduring role in advancing peace and security in the Niger Delta.
Oborevwori highlighted Tompolo’s leadership as Chairman of Tantita Security Services Limited, noting that his interventions have significantly curbed crude oil theft, enhanced oil production, and strengthened Nigeria’s revenue base.
He also acknowledged his support for the Delta State Security Trust Fund, describing it as a clear commitment to the protection of lives and property.
The governor emphasized that both the Federal Government and Niger Delta states continue to appreciate Tompolo’s stabilizing influence in the region, describing him as a dependable partner in sustaining peace and development.
Celebrating Barr. Felix Morka at 61, Oborevwori described the APC National Publicity Secretary as a seasoned legal practitioner, human rights advocate, and accomplished communicator.
He commended Morka’s professionalism in managing the ruling party’s public image and shaping national discourse.
According to the governor, Morka’s contributions across legal advocacy, civil society engagement, and international human rights platforms have strengthened democratic values, accountability, and governance in Nigeria.
He noted that Morka’s career reflects a deep commitment to advancing social and economic rights, adding that his voice remains significant in Nigeria’s evolving political landscape.
In the same vein, the governor congratulated businessman and socialite, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, on his 51st birthday, praising his entrepreneurial excellence and investments in Delta State.
Oborevwori specifically referenced projects such as Cubana Millennium City and Cubana Wonderland Hotel in Asaba, noting their impact on economic growth, tourism, and job creation.
He described Obi Cubana as a symbol of resilience and innovation whose success story continues to inspire young Nigerians.
The governor said all three celebrants exemplify dedication, leadership, and service, wishing them continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in their respective fields.
