Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended heartfelt congratulations to two prominent state leaders on their birthdays today, January 1.
Governor Oborevwori celebrated Barr. Val Arenyeka, Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, on his 60th birthday, describing him as a “consummate political tactician and devoted public servant.”
The Governor praised Arenyeka for his steadfast leadership, legal expertise, and ongoing efforts to revitalize the state’s agriculture sector under the administration’s MORE Agenda, aimed at enhancing food security, creating jobs, and promoting sustainable economic growth.
The Governor also congratulated Hon. Emmanuel Emeka Nwaobi, Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly and Chairman of the Nigerian Majority Leaders’ Forum, on his 51st birthday.
Oborevwori commended Nwaobi for his exceptional representation of Aniocha North State Constituency, sterling legislative contributions, humility, and patriotism, noting that his leadership continues to strengthen the state’s legislative arm.
“On behalf of my family, the Government and people of Delta State, I congratulate Barr. Val Arenyeka and Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi on their birthdays,” Governor Oborevwori said. “I pray for good health, renewed strength, and many more years of impactful service to Delta State and humanity.”
