Nwaoboshi goofed on Delta North APC – Emma Eboh

Engineer Afam Emma Eboh, a Chieftain of the APC in Aniocha North LGA, has described as futile political gimmick the outbursts of former Senator, Peter Nwaoboshi over the dissolution of the Forum of APC Delta North Local government and ward chairmen.

Engineer Eboh made the remark while responding to the attack by Senator Nwaoboshi on the APC Delta North Senatorial District Chairman, Ogbueshi Adizue Eluaka for dissolving the Forum of APC Delta North LGA Chairmen and Ward Chairmen who dissociated themselves from the Vote of Confidence adopted in favour of Senator Ned Nwoko by the APC Delta North Leaders, Elders and Stakeholders Meeting held at Idumuje-Ugboko, Aniocha North LGA on June 14, 2025.

Sen Peter Nwaoboshi had criticized Eluaka for exercising powers that he was alleged not to have, and running the Delta North APC as a personal fiefdom. According to Eboh, these accusations were unfair and outrageous. He said Sen Nwaoboshi misfired while desperately searching for relevance within the APC Delta North family.

Engineer Eboh noted that “the APC Constitution does not recognise the bodies so proscribed, and that the Party’s Constitution recognised the authority of the Senatorial Chairman to maintain order, discipline and cohesion” within the Party.

“It is this authority of the Senatorial District Chairman that gives him the power to discipline or dissolve any unconstitutional structures that promote rancour, division or a display of demeaning conduct against the Party’s constituted authorities or Organs.

“The APC operates with due deference to higher organs and authorities within the Party. Therefore, it is embarrassing for unconstitutional structures like the Forum of APC Delta North LGA Chairmen to flagrantly disregard, undermine, and disparage a resolution of a higher authority of the Senatorial District. This is an obvious aberration that should be promptly nipped in the bud as Ogbueshi Adizue Eluaka did in the exercise of his powers as Senatorial Chairman”

Chief Eboh advised Sen Nwaoboshi to always choose his fights carefully and before a loyal Party member who should encourage respect for constituted authorities as accorded him when he was a Senator.

He further reminded Sen. Nwaoboshi not to forget that the Ibori Vanguard was similarly dissolved when he (Nwaoboshi ) was one of the leaders of the political group, and no one, including him, cried foul over the dissolution.

The APC chieftain concluded that ” it was unnecessary and ill-motivated to play hide and seek game with the leadership of the Delta North APC.”
