The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Saturday announced 162 new cases of the Coronavirus in the country.
The NCDC said that the 162 reported cases across the country are however lower than the 170 cases that were recorded on Friday.
According to the health agency, the latest figure takes the total confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria to 62,853.
It added that a total of 245 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across the country in the last 24 hours, taking the number of successfully treated cases to 58,675
