A prominent chief of Ogulagha kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Emmanuel Potoki has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Elder Dr King Joseph Timiyan, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha kingdom on his 18th coronation anniversary.

Ogulagha Kingdom is a riverine, Ijaw and oil-producing kingdom with fishing, hunting and farming as the main occupation of the natives.

Sunday, November 12, 2023, officially marks the 18th coronation anniversary of the Paramount Ruler of the oil-rich Ogulagha kingdom.

In a congratulatory message on Friday, Chief Potoki expressed his heartfelt facilitation to the traditional ruler for his immense contributions to the development of Ogulagha kingdom.

Chief Potoki said, “His Royal Majesty, Elder Dr King Joseph Timiyan, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha kingdom has continued to demonstrate uncommon love for his people. His reign has been fruitful and the people of Ogulagha kingdom are indeed happy and grateful to God for giving them a kindhearted ruler.

“Our royal majesty is God fearing and has continued to demonstrate exemplary leadership qualities to the admiration of other royal fathers within and outside Nigeria.

“As the Chairman of the Delta Ijaw Traditional Rulers Forum, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha kingdom has also continued to demonstrate that he is a man of peace. We are very proud of him for positively projecting the kingdom to the outside world.”

The high chief of Ogulagha kingdom prayed God to grant His Royal Majesty, Elder Dr King Joseph Timiyan, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha kingdom long life, good health and wisdom to rule over his people.

He urged the monarch not to relent in his good deeds of uniting the Ijaws in Delta State and beyond.
