The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has put modalities in place to ensure hitch-free 2022 Hajj preparations.

Executive Commissioner, Planning, Research, Statistics, Information and Library Services of the Commission, Sheikh Suleiman Momoh made this known during his three-day working visit to the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria.

Revealing that his visit to the South-South zone of the country entails him interfacing with stakeholders from the region, Momoh stated that such interactions are necessary to bring everyone on the same page for the effective administration of NAHCON.

He added that his visit to states in the South-South zone was for him to have first-hand knowledge of what they need from the Commission and encouraged Muslims in the zone to participate actively in Hajj.

NAHCON Executive Commissioner commended the Commissioner representing the South-south zone of the country, Alhaji Sadiq Musa for his efforts at bringing all Muslims together.

In his response, Alhaji Sadiq Musa Commissioner Representing the South-south zone on the Board of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON wished Sheikh Momoh and his entourage a fruitful working visit.

Alhaji Musa expressed optimism that with the relaxation of the COVID-19 restrictions the 2022 Hajj would hold despite speculations.

He urged intending pilgrims to have confidence in the Commission that in the shortest possible time all bottlenecks will be taken off the way.
