Mulade congratulates Oborevwori, Omo-Agege on guber tickets

Comrade Sheriff Mulade, the Ibe-sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South-West Local Government Area has congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory in the just-concluded governorship primary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Mulade, while congratulating Oborevwori who won the primary election with a total of 597 votes said Oborevwori has the capacity and developmental interest of Deltans based on his experience in politics and as the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.

Judging from the outcome of the primary, Mulade said Oborevwori is the people’s choice and a strong contender.

He charged Oborovwori to work for the development of the state by providing the basic needed amenities such as good roads, schools, electricity, health centres, clean water, and economic empowerment to the poor and vulnerable persons living in the rural communities when he becomes governor of the state.

Also, Sheriff Mulade, who is a Delta-born renowned Peace and Environmental Justice advocate has congratulated the Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, on his victory in the governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, held on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the Federal College of Education in Asaba, the state capital.

Chief Mulade, while congratulating Ovie Omo-Agege, who won the primary election with a total of 1,190 votes said, he possesses the requisite capacity, competency and developmental initiative to develop Delta State, judging from his experience in politics at the state and the Federal level.

“DSP Omo Agege has carved a niche for himself, history will remain kind to him for his tremendous impact on the lives of Deltans. His invaluable role in the pursuit of purposefully based agendas on national development is remarkable in his role as the current Deputy Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Under his current position, he has within few years influenced and attracted some laudable projects to the State, prominent among which is the Federal Polytechnic In Delta State.

“It is worthy of note that Deltans are expecting an issues-based campaign that will highlight the various developmental blueprint such as the basic needs of the State, industrialisation, good roads, security, schools, electricity, health centres, clean water, and economic empowerment to the poor and vulnerable individuals living in the rural communities when he becomes the Governor of Delta State,” said Mulude.

The human rights advocate and development expert equally congratulated Amb Anthony Alabala for winning the Burutu North House of Assembly ticket.
