A midnight inferno on Sunday consumed property worth millions of naira at a residence in Warri, Delta State.
NewsNet Nigeria learnt that residents of the compound on No. 9 Lower Erejuwa Road in Warri South Local Government Area of the state are still counting their losses in the fire which sources say emanated from a faulty socket in one of the apartments.
Some of the tenants while narrating the sad incident said that the fire broke out just about midnight on Sunday when most of the residents were asleep.
They explained that several damages went with the fire including personal belongings.
The tenants who added that it took efforts of residents in the area to put out the fire gave thanks to God that no casualty was recorded.
