As part of its oversight activities, the Delta State House of Assembly Committee on Lands, Survey and Urban Development has invited officials of the Ministry of Lands, Survey and Urban Development for an interactive session on Monday, December 20, 2021.
Chairman of the Committee, Hon Reuben Izeze, in a statement, said the interactive session will hold at the Press Center, Delta State House of Assembly Complex, Okpanam Road, Asaba, beginning at 11am.
The officials to be led by the Commissioner in charge of the Ministry are expected to come along with details of government allocated lands and their beneficiaries within the period of July 1st 2015 to date.
They are also asked to come with the report of the Adhoc Committee on Land Recovery set up by the Ministry as of date.
Hon Izeze in the statement explained that the invitation is premised on the provisions of section 108, subsection 2 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended.
