Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, has picked, Mr Jude Ogbimi as the party’s candidate for the State House of Assembly by-election scheduled for April 10, 2021.
The Isoko North Constituency seat became vacate following the demise of Hon Tim Owhefere, who until his death represented the constituency for four consecutive tenures.
The PDP candidate, Ogbimi, was former Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Political Parties.
He had no opposition hence was returned by the Returning Officer, Dr Tony Aziegbeni, as the validly nominated candidate for the House of Assembly contest having polled 139 out of 147 accredited delegates with 5 invalid and 3 no votes.
“Mr Jude Ogbimi having scored the highest votes in this primary election is hereby declared winner as candidate for the Isoko North Constituency by-election on scheduled for April 10, 2021,” Aziegbeni said.
