An aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Isoko Federal Constituency in Delta State, Bashorun Askia Ogieh, has rounded off his consultation visit to delegates in the constituency with an appeal to them to vote for him in the forthcoming primaries of the party.

Bashorun Ogieh was accompanied by some PDP leaders in Isoko land along with a crowd of supporters on the visit to delegates at Otor-Igho and Oleh towns, in Isoko South Local Government Area.

He told the delegates in both places that his decision to join the race for the House of Representatives seat was in line with his desire to bring the constituency to national reckoning and attract development to it.

Bashorun Ogieh, who is the immediate past Managing Director of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, noted that he is eminently qualified to fly the party’s flag in the general elections, pointing out that he has the vibrancy and has remained a loyal party who is educationally and mentally fit to represent the people.

He added that he is widely accepted by the people and drew attention to his unparalleled achievements as the MD of DESOPADEC.

He appealed to delegates to vote for him to enable him fly the flag of the party during the main election.

Responding, Chairman of Isoko South PDP Chairman, Deacon Prince Ogerugba and  Chairman of Isoko South Council, Hon. Obaro Godspower as well as Dr Nelson Ejakpovi commended Bashorun Askia Ogieh for the consultation visit and promised a level playing ground for all aspirants noting that the people’s choice will prevail.

Bashorun Askia Ogieh and his team also visited a political pressure group, E.K. Clark Solidarity for Okowa to canvass support where they were received by Chief Ebikeme Clark, who represented Chief E.K Clark, Chief Micheal Usige and Sir Simeon Efenudu.
