Former two-time member of the Delta State House of Assembly, Honourable Efe Ofobruku, has extended warm Christmas greetings to the people of Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie Federal Constituency, as well as Deltans both at home and in the diaspora.
In a goodwill message, the Uvwie-born politician described Christmas season as a period of reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to unity, peace, and shared prosperity.
Ofobruku urged residents of the constituency to embrace the values of love, tolerance, and selfless service which the season represents, noting that Delta State can only make meaningful progress when its people remain united across political, ethnic, and religious lines.
He acknowledged the resilience of the people despite prevailing economic and social challenges, commending communities in Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie for their perseverance and contributions to the development of the state.
“Christmas reminds us of the power of hope and collective responsibility. Our strength as a people lies in our ability to stand together, support one another, and work towards a better future for our communities,” he stated.
Ofobruku, who represented his constituency twice in the Delta State House of Assembly, also called on youths to remain focused, law-abiding, and optimistic, stressing the importance of constructive engagement in building a stable and prosperous Delta State.
He further prayed for peace, good health, and economic stability for families across the state, while wishing Christians a joyful Christmas celebration and all Deltans a fulfilling New Year.
