YULETIDE: 100 persons benefit as Prince Okifo Foundation organises one-day medical outreach in Delta

No fewer than 100 persons in Oghara-Agbarha Kingdom in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State have benefited from a one-day medical outreach put together by the Prince Oghenerukevwe Okifo Foundation in conjunction FREDICARE Healthcare Services.

The POOF healthcare intervention which took place on Sunday, December 8, 2024, was targeted at members of Okifo families in Oghara-Agbarha Kingdom as his own way of giving back to his families in continuation of his charity works in line with the popular saying that Charity begins at home.

The Prince Okifo foundation had in the past embarked on several phases of medical outreaches based on the importance it attaches to the health needs of the people particularly the less privileged in society.

The outreach was declared opened by the the Secretary of Prince Oghenerukevwe Okifo Foundation, Hon. Desmond Okpako Duke on behalf of the CEO Prince Okifo.

Duke encouraged the Okifo families to take seriously the opportunity to properly check up and get treatment for their health challenges.

The Medical Director of FREDICARE Healthcare Services, Dr. Fred Itobore who emphasized on the various medical treatments they have for families of Prince Okifo covering patients with Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Malaria, Typhoid and sugar treatments amongst others.

Several categories of drugs and medications were freely ministered to patients by a Pharmacist as prescribed by medical experts on ground.

Consultant Miss Okorode Beauty examined patients to know the state of their health before prescribing medication ranging from anti-diabetes, apartation, antibiotics syrubs/tabs, pain relief anticeptics, multivitamins, malaria and typhoid drugs as specified by the pharmacist.

Various units which covered the outreach ranged from consultant, pharmacists, vital science, nurses and records units.

The medical team comprised of the Consultant, Miss Okorode Beauty, Nurses Mr Atiku Oghenekaro Precious, Benedicta Jonathan and Lydia Igwisi.

Pa Augustine Mudjere an elderly man in Okifo family and Monica Okifo who after receiving treatment thanked their son for the kind gesture towards them.

They prayed God Almighty to continue to enlarge coast of their son and His hands of protection also continue to abide with him.

Also part of the team Prince Oghenerukevwe Okifo Foundation was the Director Ambassador, Prince Oghenerukevwe Okifo.
