The University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital Complex, Ondo State (UNIMEDTHC) has successfully delivered a set of triplet babies through cesarean section from a 33-year-old lady, Olatubi Mercy Motunrayo.

She is a native of Idanre Local Government of Ondo state.

The Precision NG reports that the new mother of triplets came for her antenatal clinic on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020 at Medical village Laje Road Ondo.

However, the medical doctor on duty examined her and observed that she had developed swollen legs and was advised to take a bed rest in the hospital. Three hours later the woman noticed babies contraptions around her womb.

The woman was immediately taken to the labour room where the doctor on duty advised for cesarean section so as to save the babies and the mother.

All medical services were rendered to her free with delivery service pack because she possessed Kaadi Igbeayo, the Ondo State Residential Card with health social values of Abiyamo Maternal and Child Health Insurance Scheme (AMCHIS).

The mother expressed joy over the successful deliveries and appreciated Ondo state Government for the free healthcare.
