The immediate past Executive Director, Administration and Finance, Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, retired General Charles Airhiavbere, mni, has felicitated with His Royal Majesty, Omo N’oba N’edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare 11, CFR, Oba of Benin on his 70th birthday and 7th Coronation anniversaries.
Gen Airhiavbere in a congratulatory message on the celebration of the anniversaries, expressed gratitude to God for His grace upon the life of the Oba and multiple blessings ahead of him, his family, and the great ancient kingdom of Benin in Edo State.
The former NDDC Executive Director who described the Oba as an epitome of wisdom and charisma, prayed to God to grant the revered Monarch good health, sound mind, and greater peace in his domain.
“It is my great joy to join millions of well-wishers all over the globe to celebrate a distinguished personality, one of Africa’s best, a sound traditional ruler and an epitome of wisdom, HRM, Omo N’oba N’edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare 11, CFR, Oba of Benin on his 70th Birthday and 7th Coronation Anniversary.
“Indeed, this is another royal milestone in the ancient kingdom of Benin. Our people are blessed to have a Royal Father with a distinctive touch who has shown so much good leadership as evident in the deeds and welfare of his subjects.
“Your Majesty, on behalf of my family, it is my humble prayer that your reign on the throne of our ancestors is marked by greater peace and prosperity. May the sun continue to shine upon the kingdom,” Arhiavbere stated.
Airhiavbere also congratulated the entire people of Benin kingdom on the anniversary celebration of the Oba and urged all to remain supportive of a peaceful reign in the kingdom.
