The Delta State government has reviewed the 48-hour curfew imposed on Thursday following violence from the EndSARS protest in parts of the state.
Governor Okowa in a statement posted on his Instagram page on Saturday morning, said the earlier curfew, which was supposed to end today at 6pm, will now be observed from 6pm to 8am, till further notice.
The governor said the review became pertinent after he received a comprehensive briefing on the security situation across the state from the three Service Commanders.
He thanked all Deltans, particularly the youths, for complying with the curfew that was imposed two days ago, pointing out that from Sunday, October 25, people could go about their normal activities during the day.
