Egbo approves eight appointments, assures of purposeful leadership of Ughelli North Council

Newly sworn-in chairman of Ughelli North Local Government in Delta State, Olorogun Jaro Egbo has hit the ground running with the appointment of eight persons into different positions.

Egbo in a statement signed by the Assistant Director of Information of Ughelli North Local Government, Inana Anna, approved the appointment of Prince Elvis Oharisi as Chief of Staff; Mr Efe Ekete, Chief Press Secretary; Comrade Godfrey Esiada, Chief Security Officer and Comrade Rueben Igbaku, Special Adviser (Youth Matter).

Others are Comrade Eguono Okowhake, Press Officer (New Media); Godspower Isire, Press Officer (New Media); Mr Onovughe Onokpasa, Special Adviser Environment Matters and Ms Ovoke Omonigho, Personal Assistant to the Wife of the Chairman.

In phone chat with NewsNet Nigeria, Olorogun Egbo said his is a hurry to drive the MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to nooks and crannies of Ughelli North Local Government Area.

“I have been in active politics years, contested elective positions and occupied several appointments which have helped to shape me properly and prepare me for today’s task of governing Ughelli North Local Government Council for the next three years.

“I actually came prepared to serve my good people of Ughelli North and after three years they will attest to the fact that things were done differently in the administration of the council.

“With the huge support of our amiable Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Ughelli North will experience unprecedented development,” Egbo assured.
