FUPRE Launches Maritime and Offshore Courses: Invites students for admission into 2023/2024 academic session

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State has commenced the process of admitting students into its newly approved courses in the College of Maritime and Offshore Studies, starting from the 2023/2024 Academic Session, having secured approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) after a resource verification exercise carried out by its panel of experts.

This information conveyed via a news release from the university also disclosed that the two (2) new full-time undergraduate programmes are B. Sc. Maritime Economics and Finance and B.Sc. Maritime Transport and Logistics, adding that “as the University continues to expand its academic offerings, it has also improved its library holdings to foster academic growth.”

Accordingly, eligible candidates who scored 170 and above in the 2023 UTME can apply for the above courses, as the Post-UTME Online Application for the 2023/2024 Admission Exercise is currently ongoing. While the Post-UTME Screening Exercise will be held from 25th – 27th September, 2023.
