The Delta State Ministry of Technical Education has fixed Monday, January 18, 2021, for second term resumption of all government and private Technical Colleges in the state.

A statement by the state Commissioner for Technical Education, Mrs Gbubemi Ikolo, said that students in boarding houses are to return on Sunday 17th January 2021 while teaching and learning are to commence on Monday 18th January 2021.

While charging parents and guardians to ensure that they adhere to the resumption date, Mrs Ikolo charged them to ensure their children and wards are well prepared for resumption.

She further called on parents and guardians to ensure that their children and wards adhere strictly to the COVID-19 protocol by wearing their face or nose masks provided for them by the ministry.

The Commissioner also called on school heads and teachers to get prepared to receive the students and commence teaching immediately.
