Delta State College of Education Mosogar holds 2nd Combined Convocation April 5

Delta State College of Education Mosogar in Ethiope West Local Government Area will, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, hold its 2nd Combined Convocation ceremony for Graduands of 2011/2012- 2023/2024.

A statement by the Registrar and Secretary to the Governing Council of the College, Mr Simon Agberia Fole says activities for the convocation ceremony begin on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the 200-capacity Tetfund Lecture Theatre with a convocation lecture titled: “The Impact of the Non-Availability of Stable Energy in Tertiary Institutions On The Actualization of Their Mandate”.

The convocation lecture will be delivered by the Vice-Chancellor of Dennis Osadebe University, Asaba, Professor Ben Emukufia Akpoyomare Oghojafor.

The convocation ceremony, with awards and prizes, will be held on Saturday, 5th April 2025, at the College Indoor Sports Hall, beginning at ten a.m.

The convocation ceremony will be rounded up on Sunday, 6th April 2025, with a thanksgiving service at Antioch Baptist Church, Mosogar, by 9:00 am.

The statement added that graduands are required to pay the sum of N27,000 only for the convocation fee, academic gown, brochure and certificate no later than Friday, 4th April 2025, to Delta State College of Education Mosogar Zenith Bank Account No: 1010812601.

Graduands are to deposit original copies of their statement of results as applicable and show evidence of payment before the issuance of convocation gowns and other items, which begins on Friday 4th, April 2025.

The statement further added that graduates are to return their gowns after the convocation ceremony in good condition not later than Tuesday, 7th April 2025, and failure to return the gown as stipulated attracts a penalty of N1,000 per day.

The statement urged all graduates to commence and complete the process of their clearance in their schools or departments to facilitate the collection of their certificates.

It called on invited guests, parents, and graduates to be seated at the convocation venue by 9:30am, while graduates are to be properly robed in their convocation gowns before joining the convocation procession by 9:45am.
