A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Raymond Edijala has said that the grace of God is sufficient enough to see Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori through as governor of the state no matter the plots against him by his detractors.

Edijala, who was the Executive Assistant to the immediate past Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Project Monitoring in a congratulatory message to Governor Oborevwori on his inauguration on May 29, 2023, thanksgiving and birthday celebration hinged his confidence for the Okpe-born governor to succeed in office based on the Biblical inscription from 2 Corinthians 12:9, which says, “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

According to Edijala, “It is clearly evident that God’s grace is upon Governor Sheriff Oborewori and the earlier his political detractors come this realisation the better for them and for the collective good of Delta State.

“The political campaigns and elections for 2023 are over and it is now time for all to close ranks for the advancement of the state.

“For me, the almost unending court cases against Governor Oborevwori are needless but aimed at distracting him from his vision of a progressive and prosperous state.”

All that Governor Oborevwori needs now Edijala stressed is the support and prayers of all Deltans to actualise his MORE Agenda.

“I am very confident judging by his antecedents and pedigree that Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori will always put the interest of Delta State and Deltans above his in running the affairs of the state.

“Those who have worked closely with our amiable Governor Oborevwori will tell you that he is a good man who is God fearing,” said Edijala.
