Former Nigeria Minister of Information, Prof Sam Oyovbaire has said that the ‘gentleman’ power rotation in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta state is anchored on the three senatorial districts in the state and not based on ethnicity.
Prof Oyovbaire said this on Saturday during the official inauguration/swearing-in of the Board of Trustees and National Executives of Delta Central 2023 (DC-23) at the PTI Conference Centre, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
The erudite professor of Political Science emphasized that the approaches to be adopted by the DC-23 in realising an Urhobo governor in Delta state come 2023 will be by dialogue, appeal and persuasion to the other senatorial districts.
He urged those still wavering in their decision to be part of DC-23 to quickly decide to join the group, which is a key driver for the actualisation of a governor from Delta Central.
