Respite has come the way of Mrs Onoriode Kevwe, a mother of three children who has been suffering from a mouth tumour for the past four years.

The tumour medically is known as Ameloblastoma.

The 31-year-old Onoriode Kevwe, who hails from Ewu Town in Ughelli South and Enwhe in Isoko South Local Government Areas both of Delta State, is a petty trader who sells cellophane.

Fortune recently smiled at Mrs Kevwe, when Chief Willson Brume Ejeben, a philanthropist from Udu Local Government Area of Delta State recently took over the sponsorship of the medical surgery for her mouth tumour.

Through the compassion and magnanimity of Chief Ejeben, the four-year tumour was successfully operated on.

Speaking with Wilson Ejeben Foundation media crew on Thursday (04/11/21), at the hospital where the surgery was carried out, elder sister to Mrs Onoriode Kevwe, Mrs Mary Koko, who could not hide her joy, revealed that for the past four years her sister has passed through hell and shame.

She noted however that God in His infinite mercy sent Chief Wilson Ejeben to salvage the ugly situation and remove shame from their family.

On her part, the lead surgeon, Dr Enakpodia Anighoro, who thanked Chief Willson Ejeben for his magnanimity, said that the operation, which was one in two and titled: SUBTOTAL MANDIBULECTOMY (with immediate Reconstruction using Reconstruction plate and screws), lasted for 8 hours.

Dr Anighoro disclosed that the surgery had a team of a diastatic unit surgeon, doctors, nurses amongst others.

She called on well-meaning Nigerians to emulate the Wilson Ejeben Foundation.

Chief Willson Ejeben, a native of Aladja community, who is the Isio of Udu and Bobaselu of Ugbo Kingdom in Ondo State was filled with joy on hearing about the successful operation.

In a phone chat from Port Harcourt, Chief Ejeben said his Foundation will continue to save lives and add value to humanity.

It would be recalled that Chief Wilson Ejeben saw the gory face of Mrs Onoriode Kevwe on May 22, 2021, when he graced the 24th remembrance of his beloved mother at Aladja and was moved to intervene.

Mrs Onoriode Kevwe is currently at the recovery unit of an undisclosed hospital and will be discharged in a week time.
