The Executive Assistant to Delta State Governor on Communications, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has said that the State Government was not aware of acute insecurity in the state that would warrant panic or inability of Deltans to go about their normal socioeconomic activities.

Dr Oghenesivbe who stated this Wednesday, April 23, on a live radio  programme “The Republic” on Sleek FM 101.9, Owa-Ekei, stressed that issues of  land disputes and cult-related activities in few communities and in some parts of Ika nation should not be mistaken for serious insecurity challenges across the state, saying that the governor has directed that all land disputes should be looked into and resolved to enhance peaceful coexistence among the various communities across the state
