Delta LG Polls: PDP begins sales of forms Friday

Delta State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will on Friday, May 10, 2024, begin sales of forms to aspirants for the July 13, 2024, local government elections in the state.

This is contained in the timetable and schedule of activities signed by the State chairman of the party, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso and released after briefing journalists on Thursday, May 8 2024, at the party’s Secretariat in Asaba, the capital city.

Breakdown of the timetable below:

1. Sales of Forms to Aspirants: Friday, May 10 to Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

2. Submission of Completed forms will take place from Thursday, 16th May to Saturday 18th May 2024.

3. Screening of aspirants will be held from: Saturday 19th May to Monday 20th May 2024.

4. Appeals arising from screening Tuesday, 21st May, 2024.

5. Ward Congresses to elect Councillorship candidates and 3 Ad-hoc delegates Friday, 24th May, 2024

6. Appeals arising from Councillorship primaries and 3 Ward Ad-hoc delegates election Saturday, May 25th, 2024

7. Party Primaries (Chairmen) Saturday, 25th May, 2024

8. Party Run-off primaries (if any) Sunday, 26th May, 2024.
