Delta State Ijaw leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), High Chief Micheal Johnny has assured that the Ijaws of APC in the state would give total support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to succeed.

Johnny, the Agadiwei’ of Gbaramatu kingdom, in a congratulatory statement on Monday in Warri, also congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima on their successful inauguration at Abuja.

He said, “The Ijaw leaders, stakeholders and members of All Progressive Congress APC in Warri South West, Warri North, Warri South, Burutu, Patani and Bomadi Local Government Areas in Delta State, congratulates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, on his successful inauguration on May 29th, 2023.”

The former Chairman of Egbema Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation EGCDF noted that the Delta State Ijaws in the All Progressives Congress APC spoke very loudly with our votes for President Tinubu at the February 25th Presidential election.

“It is our belief and expectation that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration will bring more fortunes to the Ijaws of APC in Delta State, even as we shall continue to support the new President Tinubu’s administration to succeed.”

Johnny also thanked Delta State Ijaws in APC for their support and loyalty to the party before, during and after the last National and State elections, expressing hope that their efforts will be rewarded.
