Some political pundits say the political campaigns that followed the governorship contest were the most rigorous and fierce in the history of the state.

Saturday’s governorship election in the state claimed the lives of 2 persons in Mosogar Kingdom, Ethiope West Local Government Area.

The spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, told NewsNet Nigeria on Monday that the rumour that there was one death recorded in the Ughelli area is yet to be confirmed by the Command.
