Delta cleric blasts Buhari for wanton killings, harsh economy

As Nigerians continue to grapple with insecurities and high cost of living, the Founder of Praise God Revival Ministry, Enerhen in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta state, Bishop Ajokparoghene Okijenu, has called on President Mohammadu Buhari to deal with the challenges facing the country.

Bishop Okijenu while commenting on the state of the nation said that the increasing high cost of living and wanton killings of innocent Nigerians should be enough reasons for President Mohammadu Buhari to take action in fixing the country.

The outspoken clergyman added that many Nigerians are finding it difficult to cope with life because of the increasing high cost of things.

He urged President Buhari to strive to leave positive legacies behind by ensuring that his administration tackles insecurity and the economy so that Nigerians can live safe in any part of the country as well as afford good living.

Bishop Ajokparoghene Okijenu who also spoke on railway transportation, appealed to the security agencies to beef up security along the railway track, so as to save the lives of those utilising the rail transportation.

On the issues of resource control, the Founder of Praise God Revival Ministry, Enerhen, implored the federal government to allow states to control their resources as it was done in the 60s.

Bishop Ajokparoghene Okijenu who expressed worries over the embezzlement of public funds by Nigerian politicians, charged them to refrain from the looting act by channelling public funds into developmental projects that will have positive impact on the lives of the people.

The Warri based renowned clergyman, popularly known as the boldest Bishop, called on Nigerian servants of God to wake up at this trying time of the nation by praying for the country.

Bishop Ajokparoghene Okijenu however expressed optimism that the myriad of problems facing Nigeria will be over very soon adding that Nigeria will still bounce back.

The wanton killings he said will soon be over and implored all patriotic Nigerians to play their parts for the betterment of the nation.
