A Delta All Progressives Congress (APC) State Chairmanship aspirant, Hon. Ebiakpo Ezebri, has declared his confidence in transforming the party into an unstoppable political force, promising to secure a landslide victory for the APC in Delta State during the 2027 general elections if elected chairman.

Ezebri, a former executive member of Delta APC, told journalists that the state chapter needs strategic, experienced leadership to consolidate gains and ensure dominance in future elections.

“I have the capacity to neutralise the opposition,” he said, adding that under his watch, the opposition would not secure even 5% of the vote in Delta.

He pledged to deliver over a million votes for President Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, drawing parallels to the party’s success in 2011 under President Goodluck Jonathan.

Highlighting his 30-year political experience, Ezebri said, “I understand the dynamics of Delta politics and what it takes to win elections. My track record positions me uniquely to unite the party and strengthen its grassroots support.”

Ezebri emphasized that the role of state chairman is about disciplined service, not personal legacy.

“This position is about reinforcing party structures and galvanizing APC for victory,” he said.

He also explained that his recent consultations with key stakeholders are aimed at bolstering his strategic advantage within the party.

“Politics is about consultation and strategy, and the responses have been very encouraging,” he noted.

On the zoning debate, Ezebri stressed that Delta South, which is underrepresented in key state offices, should present the next chairman.

“Among aspirants from Delta South, my experience and political pedigree set me apart,” he said.

Calling on party leaders and members for support, Ezebri assured that his leadership would reposition Delta APC as a formidable force capable of dominating the state in 2027.
