In a renewed drive to strengthen public education in Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ede Dafinone has commissioned six newly renovated classrooms at Ewu Grammar School, Otor-Ewu, in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The commissioning ceremony, attended by community leaders, education stakeholders and school administrators, marked another step in the senator’s ongoing efforts to improve learning conditions and educational infrastructure across the district.
Speaking at the event, Senator Dafinone said the project reflects his commitment to addressing the long-standing infrastructural challenges facing public schools, while creating safe and conducive learning environments for students.
He stressed that quality education remains critical to sustainable development, noting that investments in school facilities are investments in the future of young people and the overall growth of Delta Central.
“These renovated classrooms now offer safe, modern and supportive spaces that will help students learn effectively, improve academically and reach their full potential,” Dafinone said.
The senator added that improved classroom conditions would enhance teaching outcomes, raise student performance and boost morale among teachers and school administrators.
Reaffirming his dedication to the education sector, Senator Dafinone assured residents that he would continue to support schools and students across Delta Central Senatorial District through interventions aimed at promoting academic excellence and long-term development.
