Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ede Dafinone, has extended warm birthday congratulations to former Delta State Governor and immediate past Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, as he marks his 67th birthday.
In a goodwill message on Wednesday, Dafinone described the former governor’s public service journey as one marked by dedication, selfless leadership and an unwavering commitment to the development of Delta State and Nigeria.
The lawmaker said Okowa’s years in public office, spanning grassroots leadership and top national responsibilities, have left an enduring imprint on governance and public service.
“On behalf of the great people of Delta Central, I heartily congratulate Your Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, on the joyous occasion of your 67th birthday,” Dafinone said.
He added that the occasion provided an opportunity to appreciate God’s faithfulness in the former governor’s life while celebrating a career devoted to serving the people.
According to the senator, Okowa’s contributions to the growth and development of Delta State remain significant and continue to inspire many Nigerians, particularly those serving in public office.
