Bobrisky convicted, remains in EFCC custody till April 9

A Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday, April 5, reserved judgment of convicted cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky till April 9, 2024.

The judge, Justice Abimbola Awogboro also ordered that he should be returned to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s custody pending the judgment.

Bobrisky who pleaded guilty to the charge of naira abuse told the court he was not aware of the law on abusing the naira.

He said that he is a social media influencer with over five million followers.

The judge told Bobrisky that ignorance of the law was not an excuse and subsequently convicted him for abusing the Naira.
