Oborevwori appoints Christiana Emetulu as new GM of DBS Asaba

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the appointment of Mrs Christiana Uloho Jobome-Emetulu as the new General Manager of Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS), Asaba.

A statement on Friday by the Functioning Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Information, Mr. Lucky Omokri, statement on Friday said Emetulu’s appointment was sequel to “the retirement from service of Mr Francis-Whyte Osabohien, the immediate past General Manager of DBS, Asaba.

“Until her appointment, Mrs Christiana Uloho Jobome-Emetulu was the Deputy General Manager, Marketing in the station.

“The appointment takes immediate effect.”

Christiana Uloho Jobome-Emetulu began her broadcasting career at Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS), Warri.

While with DBS Warri, she was renowned for anchoring “Frank Talk” a popular programme on Radio Delta (Melody FM), Warri and on Television, “Education In Perspective”.

She is happily married to a two-time serving member of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Charles Emetulu.

Hon Emetulu represents Ndokwa West Constituency in the current 8th Delta State House of Assembly and was the Chairman, House Committee on Education in the 7th Assembly.
