Wife of the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Mrs Timiebi Emomotimi Guwor, has announced a 2-day Free Medical Outreach in Warri South West Local Government Area to commemorate her 40th birth anniversary.
The free medical service is scheduled for Monday, 20th and Tuesday, 21st November 2023.
To achieve total coverage of the area, the exercise is programmed to be held at various locations across the wards in Warri South West Constituency.
A statement made available to Newsmen by the organisers said the official flag-off of the event will take place on Monday at Ogbe-Ijoh, headquarters of the local government council, at 10 o’clock in the morning.
Wife of the Delta State Governor, Deaconess Tobore Oborevrwori, is expected at the ceremony as Special Guest of Honour, while the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Joseph Onojaeme, is the Guest of Honour.
The statement named the Speaker, Delta State Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, who represents Warri South West Constituency in the House, as Chief Host, and the Chairman, Warri South West Local Government Council, Hon Taiye Tuoyo, as Host, to be supported by eminent personalities in the Constituency.
It adds that in collaboration with the Delta State Ministry of Health, a team of Consultants, Doctors and other Health Workers, have been assembled to see to the successful implementation of the planned health programme.
The organizers enjoined the general public, particularly indigenes and residents of Warri South West to avail themselves the opportunity provided by the two day Free Medical Outreach to attend to their health needs.
