A frontline Urhobo political leader, Chief Austine Oghenevwogaga Uloho has congratulated Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his Supreme Court victory.

Speaking when the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transport, Olorogun Jaro Egbo led members of Hivoltage Movement to his country home on the Ukodobration celebration to mark the Governor’s epoch-making Supreme Court victory, Chief Uloho called on those who contested the 2023 Delta State Governorship election to rally round the Governor to move the state forward.

Chief Uloho, a native of Ughelli Kingdom and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) described last Friday’s judgement of the Supreme Court as an attestation of the overwhelming mandate entrusted by Deltans to Governor Oborevwori.

He particularly praised the five-member panel of justices of the apex court for upholding the rule of law by not succumbing to the antics of those bent on stealing the mandate given to Oborevwori through the back door.

“I, on behalf of my family and the good people of Ughelli Kingdom heartily congratulate His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory at the Supreme Court. Just like it is popularly said, ‘in God’s case there is no appeal’, so it was in the case of Governor Oborevwori. God showed Himself mightily in the 38 cases the Governor and Deltans give God all the glory,” said Uloho.
