Immediate past Deputy Governor of Delta State, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, has congratulated incumbent Governor Sherrif Oborevwori on his victory before the Supreme Court on Friday.

Otuaro, a lawyer in a statement by his media aide, Pastor Arex Akemotubo, described Oborevwori’s victory at the apex court as a legal confirmation that strengthens the country’s democratic system.

While praising the Supreme Court Justices for their steadfast dedication to preserving the rule of law, the former deputy governor encouraged Deltans to band together in support of Governor Oborevwori for a stronger and more prosperous state.

He also expressed gratitude to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for their unflinching perseverance and support throughout the entire legal process.

“To Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), I convey my sincere congratulations on our stunning victory at the Supreme Court today regarding the 2023 governorship election.

“This momentous victory not only represents legal legitimacy but also reaffirms the people of Delta State’s faith in the administration of H.E. Rt. Elder Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori,” said Otuaro.
