ONE YEAR IN OFFICE: Agagbo congratulates Oborevwori on landmark achievements, sues for more support from Deltans

Frontline chairmanship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon Andrew Agagbo has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for his impactful programmes and harvest of projects as he marks his one-year in office.

Hon Agagbo in a chat with newsmen in Ekpan, Uvwie Local Government Area said Governor Oborevwori deserves huge accolades and applause for sustaining the tempo of development as his numerous achievements dot the landscape Delta State.

He particularly noted that Governor Oborevwori was the first Governor in the state who practically continued with the execution of projects started by his predecessors.

“I am immensely grateful to His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State for the unprecedented contract award of the multi-billion Naira ongoing construction of three flyovers, road expansion and interchange projects in the twin cities of Effurun and Warri which will practically change the aesthetics of the cities.

“I also wish to use this medium to call on Deltans to keep supporting Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration. I believe the administration will certainly do MORE for the people and the state through people-oriented projects as well as ensuring a business-friendly environment through sustainable peace and security,” said Agagbo.

He listed other projects to include:

1. Continuation and expansion of Warri/Effurun storm drainage project

2. Warri Township Stadium Project and the storm drainage around the stadium to solve the perennial problem of flash flooding in the stadium

3. Ohore Adagbrassa Bye Pass

5. Delta State High Court Building Asaba

7. Numerous projects in the three State Universities

8. Grants for indigenous people of Delta State

9. Payment of bursary to over 30 thousand students of Delta State origin

11. Delta State University of Technology, Orerokpe campus

12. Numerous road projects across the three senatorial districts of Delta State

13. Commissioning of Orere bridge to open up over 20 communities across different local government areas

14. Grants to youths and women

15. Emevor/Orogun Road
