As Moslems in Nigeria and other parts of the world mark Eld-el-Kabir, the need for peace and unity has been stressed by a lawmaker in Delta state, Honourable Solomon Ighrakpata.
He tasked all moslem faithful in Delta state and Nigeria to reflect on the life and teaching of Prophet Mohammed.
Ighrakpata who is Deputy Chief Whip of the Delta State House of Assembly while felicitating with all Moslems advised them to live in peace with one another and support efforts of government at state and federal levels at ensuring peace and unity in Nigeria.
He noted that the Delta state government through its peace and security agenda has ensured that Deltans accommodate one another irrespective of tribe and religion.
