Continue to seek the face of God – Delta Speaker urges Christians at Christmas

As Christians worldwide celebrate the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ, Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor has felicitated with Deltans and residents in the state on the celebration.

Rt Hon Guwor who is the National Treasurer, Conference of Speakers of States Houses of Assembly, on behalf of himself, his family, Warri South West Constituency and the entire Delta state legislature, wished the people well on the annual spiritual event.

The Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Comrade Nkem Nwaeke, stressed the need for the people to continue to seek the face of God and divine mercies in all they do.

He also admonished all to forgive those who might have wronged them in one way or the other and forged ahead with greater love and kindness, in line with the spirit of the season.

Guwor prayed God to grant the people blessings that flow from the celebration of the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ, saying that true believers can never fall short of His glory.

The Speaker assured of the commitment of Sheriff Oborevwori’s led administration in advancing the state to greater prosperity, stressing that an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity was needed to achieve the set goals.

“We must be united to achieve steady progress and growth in the state.

“As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us use the spiritual event to preach love and greater unity amongst ourselves. We must forgive each other of any perceived wrongdoing and move ahead for greater tomorrow.

“On behalf of my wife, Timiebi, family, constituents and the Delta State House of Assembly, I wish Deltans and residents in the state and Christians all over the world, Merry Christmas. I pray that all the blessings that come with it locate us all to His glory. Amen,“ Guwor stated.
