The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Rivers South-East Senatorial District Campaign Council for Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Warisenibo Sofiri Gladstone Dappa, has resigned from the party.

Dappa, a former House of Assembly aspirant announced his resignation on Thursday, September 1, 2022, in a resignation letter he personally signed and addressed to the Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Opobo/Nkoro  LGA Chapter, Rivers State.

In the letter, he wrote, “Having painstakingly consulted with my Family, Leaders and Followers, I write to convey my decision to resign my Membership with the All Progressives Congress.

“As a foundation Member of the Party, I sincerely appreciate its Leadership and Membership for the camaraderie we shared and the opportunities through which I served mankind within my disposition.

“This letter also serves automatically as my resignation from the position of Director General, Amb. Oji Ngofa Senatorial Campaign Council for Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area.”
