The three-man Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt has cleared the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to proceed with its national convention.
The Appeal Court on Friday dismissed the motion for Interim order of injunction brought by the former Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, seeking the suspension of the party’s convention scheduled for the 30th and 31st of October 2021.
The three-man appeal panel led by Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani had on Thursday for the second time reserved ruling on the matter till Friday.
