Amori Pays Condolence Visit to Ibru Family Over Oskar’s Passing

The Ibru family compound in Apapa, Lagos, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, received Senator (Chief) Ighoyota Amori, who paid a condolence visit following the passing of Olorogun Oskar Ibru.

He joined other sympathizers to console the bereaved family and offered words of comfort to Oskar’s wife, Gloria, as well as his brothers Peter and Emma, and his son, Obukome.

Speaking during the visit, Amori expressed his heartfelt sympathy over the loss, describing Olorogun Oskar as a towering figure whose legacy will remain evergreen in Nigeria’s business and philanthropic circles.

“May the gentle soul of Olorogun Oskar rest in perfect peace,” he prayed.

Olorogun Oskar Ibru, eldest son of the late patriarch of the Ibru dynasty, Olorogun Michael Ibru, passed away after a brief illness. He was aged 67.
