Nigeria’s Second Republic Senate President, Dr Joseph Wayas, has passed on.
Cross River Governor, Dr Ben Ayade, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Thursday described the passage of Wayas as a monumental loss to Cross River State in particular and Nigeria as a whole.
The Cross River born politician, who was said to have been receiving medical attention for some time, reportedly died in a London hospital in the early hours of Thursday.
